Clubs and Societies Survey

As part of its programme of public consultation, the NPSC commissioned a survey of clubs and societies active in the village to determine their current and future requirements in respect of facilities and amenities. The survey covered a number of key areas:-

  • Information about the clubs and societies themselves
  • Current perceived strengths and weaknesses
  • Future needs
  • Perceived need for specific facilities, amenities and features

Following extensive research into the clubs and societies active in the village and identifying their membership secretaries, a questionnaire was sent out to them during the 4th quarter of 2014. 26 organisations were contacted and 21 organisations responded.

The report on the findings from this survey can be downloaded by clicking on the link below.

About SITV Parish Neighbourhood Plan

We all want to protect and enhance what is good about our Parish of Stanford in the Vale, improve facilities and services and have a positive influence on future development. A Neighbourhood Plan (NP) is an important way to do this.

It will carry real weight in future planning matters. It can help direct where new homes, shops, offices, leisure facilities, schools and other development should be built and what they should look like.

To learn more about NPs check out the tabs above. You can also see what the VoWH Planning Officers told us under the FAQ tab (Frequently Asked Questions), Follow Us on Twitter for Latest News or Announcements and get in touch via our Contact page.
